Swimming Pool Inspections

We license and perform inspections for public swimming pools and spas to help reduce the risk of waterborne illness and injury. We provide information to the public and pool operators about safe swimming practices.

The Environmental Division licenses Public Swimming Pools and Spas and conducts inspections to ensure that they are in compliance with the health and safety requirements of the state health department. A pre-opening inspection is performed on all public pools/spas in the county and water chemistry is checked monthly throughout the outdoor pool season.
