Job Posting: Office Support Specialist
Duties: Under direct supervision by Director of Nursing; successful candidate performs moderate numerical calculations involving cashiering, accounts payable/receivable, reconciling accounts; electronic claims submission; program billing, and/or other applications. Provides a variety of clerical, administrative and support services; answers phone, schedules appointments, establishes and maintains files. Records financial transactions daily and submits all program generated income to the Fiscal Officer. Ensures financial reports are completed properly and on time. Maintains supply inventory. Assists in internal and external audits. Provides excellent customer service to internal clients and external clients. All health district employees have an emergency response role and may be expected to respond to threats to the public’s health in accordance with the Auglaize County Health Department Emergency Response Plan.
Qualifications: High school graduate or GED with a minimum 6 months accounting, bookkeeping, or related field experience, Microsoft Office, and valid driver’s license required. Associate degree in accounting or Medical Billing training preferred. Combination of equivalent education, training and/or experience will be considered.

Pay Range: Hiring rate based on experience and certifications.
