The Augliaze County Women, Infants, & Children (WIC) program is accepting resumes for the position of Office Support Specialist.

Role and Responsibilities:

Under general supervision assists clients with Women, Infants, & Children (WIC) documents and verification of financial eligibility; maintains accurate and organized client/program records; compiles WIC statistical data reports for grant requirements and department reports. Performs general clerical duties such as inventorying supplies, verifying program schedule of clients, copying documents, answering incoming calls, assisting clients over the phone in a professional manner, and other duties as assigned.


Experience/Education Requirements:

Qualified candidate will have completed at least secondary education or equivalent (high school or GED); at least 3 months experience in office practices and procedures, preferably in a health department or medical office setting; knowledgeable in computer data entry software; ability to communicate effectively and establishing working relationships with clients; ability to plan and organize work effectively. Valid Ohio driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.

Pay Range: $15.25 per hour starting rate, negotiable based on experience and certification(s)


Work Status: Full Time, 40 hours/week
