National Nurse's Week!

National Nurses Week is held from May 6th – 12th each year to recognize the invaluable work of nurses. Nurses are the first line of defense in the prevention of illness and injury. They champion and promote the health of our nation. The observance week ends on May 12, which is the birthday of Florence Nightingale (May 12, 1820 – August 13, 1910).

The Auglaize County Health Department employs seven Registered Nurses and contracts with one Registered Nurse.  Combined, they have over 125 years of Public Health experience.

The Auglaize County Health Department would like to recognize our nurses for the amazing work they do every day for our county residents:

  • Charlotte Axe, RN
  • Jenny Boroff, RN
  • Denise Brown, RN
  • Becky Egbert, RN
  • Brenda Eiting, RN
  • Lynnette Lininger, RN
  • Diane Schulze, RN
  • Renee Zwiebel, RN

We would like to also thank all of the other nurses working hard each day to help make us healthier.
